Come up to the Junction for amazing parties and installations, and then when all of that shuts down, come party with your design pals at The Great Hall for the Design Dance. It's like the Flea, but with less spending money on awesome stuff, and more spending money on awesome beer PLUS dancing courtesty of DJs Members Only (we've been promised lots of disco). That's some arithmetic I think we can all get into. RSVP HERE .

New Food Vendor! MATT DEMILLE

Matt's "walking taco" is based on traditional "Frito Pie" (har har) - but seriously it's a thing! He's taking it one step further, adding a massive scoop of either his amazing home made beef or vegetarian chili, pickled tomatoes and spicy sour cream. He'll be at the Junction Flea THIS SUNDAY so come down and crush 10! They're only 6 bones! It's the perfect holiday detox, obviously. Matt also has a few other surprised up his sleeve so get 'em while they're hot!!

Matthew DeMille's interest in food began at a young age, cooking alongside his mother in their home kitchen.  Following his work at Canoe, Biff's and Le Select, Matt went to Parts and Labour, working closely with his BFF Matty Matheson to open its doors in 2010. After spending time as the Chef de Cusine at Enoteca Sociale in Toronto, Matt and his family moved to picturesque Prince Edward County to live the dream. He spends his time toiling in the kitchen at Pomodoro Trattoria and crushing life in Eastern Ontario.

New Vendor! THE EYE OF FAITH!

The Eye of Faith is an online vintage clothing and lifestyle brand established and operated out of the Junction since 11/11/11. As well as the online {SHOP}The Eye of Faith.com is rapidly becoming one of the leading voices in vintage clothing, style, and inspirations.  We have been shipping out to Paris, New York, London, Los Angeles, and Australia and hope to make an introduction to our neighbours! The Eye of Faith is excited to make their public debut with The Junction Flea!
A visit to the site has been described as "falling down the rabbit-hole". . . and this is exactly what to expect. With an undying passion for finding beautiful articles of the past, and the idols of yesteryear, we hope to invoke the very best, and perhaps unexpected, deep from within. That's the magic of vintage; the transformation from outside and in
Every year we throw out thousands of pounds of used clothing, and spend billions of dollars on new. In our ever fragile world, it’s time for our collective consciousness to come together to help make things better. Choosing vintage is an easy way to stay on point with your style, while also being conscious of the planet!

Online, The Eye of Faith primarily focuses on menswear, and menswear inspirations, but special for The Junction Flea we expect to bring some much anticipated pieces of women's clothing from the collection!
We hope not just to bring back traditions of style, and the ritual of getting dressed to impress, but also progress with the times and innovate new styles! Our inspirations range from Master Masons to Prophet Playboys, so expect to see something weird and/or wonderful . . . (if you dare!!!)

You can browse some of our stuff at our {SHOP} at http://theeyeoffaith.bigcartel.com

New Vendor! CRYWOLF!

Since starting out in 2005, slinging 1" buttons out of boxes to random strangers on the street, Crywolf has come a long way to where it is today. Crywolf is comprised of Rose Chang and Stephanie Drabik – friends first, collaborators/business partners second. We met in high school and bonded over mutual taste in art/fashion/music. We set up an online store and started designing and screen printing t-shirts (and slinging buttons) in 2005 as P0isson. In 2008 we both dedicated our time to working full-time and re-branded ourselves as Crywolf. Today we still screen print and press buttons as we have since day one but our always-expanding line now includes necklaces, lapel pins, paper goods, plushies, mouse pads, vinyl toys and our first in-house line of tanks and tees called Crywolf Cuts. We even do a little hand-painted nail art on the side!

Our style is a mishmash of our strange, fantastic, quirky and whimsical ideas. The main concept behind Crywolf is producing limited edition, collectable, wearable and affordable pieces of art. All of our designs are based on our drawing. A strong DIY attitude has and will always fuel our work ethic and be our driving force. Our inspiration comes from artists and crafts people who strive to do what they love, do it themselves, and make a living out of it.

New vendor! RUNE

RUNE  began as an exploration into the architectural possibilities in jewelry, centering around the idea of the artifact. With roots in architecture and sculpture, the jewelry takes cues from everyday geometry, finding inspiration from our built environment and the raw industrial materials around us. From idea to conception, each piece is carefully crafted; one material informing the other of its place, fitting perfectly together.  The artifact presents itself intertwined with its counterparts, and within each necklace, the understanding of a new material expression arises.
We are two architects, and one ceramic artist - Sharon Leung / Jane Kate Wong / Kristen Lim-Tung. RUNE was originally formed in Toronto - with soon to be bases in Copenhagen and New York.
